my precious dedication

Today I was able to dedicate my beautiful Ella to my precious Jesus. Words cannot express how important and special this day was to me. I feel like it was my opportunity to say Ella is reserved for God and her foundation is in Him. The service was beautiful and my heart was overjoyed. What better way to start off you life, than to dedicate it to the who knows your every move, every thought, your everything. I am so blessed to surrounded by such a great group of Christ followers. I am thankful for the impact they will have on my children. I praise Him "for I am fearfully and wonderfully made!"

Today my sister from lakewood came into town with her roommate David! We headed to devine farms (thanks to hope http://hopefilledhome.blogspot.com/ ) We had a wonderful time decorating a CHRISTMAS ornament, riding on the barrel train, and playing in the corn maze! After what seems to be weeks of rain and cold weather it was a GORGEOUS day to spend with family!

preheat the oven to 450 degrees
cut the ends off the crust to make a square
cut into fourths
place a spoonful of preserves in the middle and spread
fold over and close the edges with the tines of a fork
place in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes

you can make a frosting by mixing 1 and 1/4 cups of powder sugar and milk. start with 2Tb and add more depending on consistency desired. add sprinkles :)
